Accessibility

I want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, zoom in, or prefer reduced motion.

Standard

This website aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in new tab) at level AA. Based on the tests below, it meets that level, with the limitations listed further down.

What works

• All content and links can be reached and used with the keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
• Text and controls have sufficient colour contrast (body text 9.9:1 or more).
• Every image has a text description, and every page has one clear heading structure.
• Links that open in a new tab say so to screen readers.
• The page works at 400% zoom and on narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
• Animations are switched off when your system asks for reduced motion. The site also works fully without JavaScript.

How it was tested

On 6 October 2026, all pages of the site were checked with:

• the automated checker axe-core 4.10 against WCAG 2.2 A and AA (no issues found),
• keyboard-only navigation through every link and control,
• a 320-pixel-wide viewport and increased text spacing,
• VoiceOver on macOS with Safari.

Known limitations

• The Impressum & Datenschutz page is in German only, as German law requires.
• The hand-drawn highlights in the text have low contrast. They are decorative only; the text they mark is fully readable.
• Links lead to external services (Calendly, LinkedIn, Medium, Instagram, Eurosky) whose accessibility I can't control.

Feedback

If something on this site doesn't work for you, or you need content in a different format, please write to impressum.rounding179@passmail.com and I'll reply as soon as I can.
